Our team undertook the challenge of transforming a classic 1920s multifamily home in Ferndale into a modern two-unit property. Initially, we explored various designs aimed at preserving much of the original structure. However, through detailed discussions and a deeper understanding of the client's broader goals, it became clear that a more ambitious approach was needed. We shifted direction, opting for a complete redesign and new build that aligned better with the client’s vision and profitability objectives. The result is a contemporary, two-unit property that not only meets modern standards but also maximizes investment potential.
